I was told I should of put more on the blog. So here goes.
I attended a class reunion meeting today 7-12-09 and we have about 250 paid and counting. They are coming in slow. I know this is a bad time for a class reunion for a lot of us. Money is at a premium and the last thing to spend it on is a class reunion. So what to do?
I as many found that I justified the reunion and paid my money. We are getting up in age and so how many more are we going to have.
Some may say they have bad memories at St John Vianney and dealing with seeing the people again is the last thing they want to do. But how many people really treated you bad and of course have you given them a chance to say anything and try to convince you that time heals everything.
I find that renewing old relationships and creating new friends is the best thing I have ever done. So I again invite all of you to attend this reunion. Possibly the last or one of the last to come.

We had another meeting and we will be sending out a letter in the next two months. A little update for all. The cost is set at 50.00/each. So save your pennies or dollars. For Hotels in the area with a discount call and say you are coming in for the class reunion. The sooner you get rooms the better!
Food at the Reunion has been settled and we are having Chicken and Pork. They will have more Bars in the Hall this time at least five maybe more depending on the room we need for the Classes. We have the original Photographer this time from the original class reunion. BETTER RESULTS. Any comments or sound offs just post to blog. Thanks for viewing.

If people need more days, they just need to request them and they will get the same discounted rate. As you may see The Date Has been moved. We now will be having the Reunion on August 22, 2009. The previous date would of had a conflict with the PGA Tour Buick Open. So with that in mind the date was moved.

Just an update...
I and a group of Vianneyits were talking about the reunion and realized that the reunion is the same weekend as the PGA Buick Open at Warwick Hills in Grand Blanc, MIchigan. The Open will be the week of July 25 to August 2nd. So we may have a very difficult time in getting Hotel and Motel rooms in the area. This will be something to think about as we get closer to the date.

I created this blog after the second meeting for the ALL Class Reunion That is going to be next year August 22, 2009 at the Genesys Conference Center in Grand Blanc, MI.
I would like all who attended St Johns to try and communicate with each other with the help of this blog You can post questions and information about fellow class mates Lost or missing and seek the help of others that may have information or contacts that can help. Please share this blog with all who went to St Johns.
This first communication Is a start with what I hope to be an ongoing open forum between all the graduating classes of St John Vianney in Flint, MI from 1955 to 1973. It is my hope that all will get involved.
